Intellicor's International Based Curriculum
Intellicor International Academy's goal is to become a candidate school with the International Baccalaureate Organization in its first year operation. The accreditation process with the IBO takes 2-3 years to complete. As part of this process, teachers and administration must undergo a series of workshops for training. Intellicor will be basing its curriculum on the iHeart school model, as well as the International Baccalaureate curricula for primary and middle years. To become an IB school, an application for candidacy is submitted during the first year, April 2017. Intellicor will then be a Candidate school for 1-2 years as its staff and program get certified by the IBO. It's a long process to attain accreditation, but Intellicor is working hard to meet IB goals in its first year.
Islamic Studies and the Quranic Sciences
Intellicor International Academy aims to nurture its young Muslim students towards retaining their Islamic identity, while having a positive relationship with the society in which we live. Not only is it important to know Islamic knowledge, but as important is to understand and relate to these concepts. Students don't just need to know their deen, but love it.
The basis of the curriculum is published by the International Curricula Organization. Intellicor International Academy will be joining hundreds of high caliber Islamic schools all over the world providing top quality education in the Islamic Sciences.
Intellicor International Academy is currently studying a variety of extracurricular activities. Because these activities are largely driven by student interest and input, the final list of clubs and sports will be announced during the first month of school in August. However, here are some of the programs being considered.
